Go there to enjoy a drink or dinner and a similar view. Tip: You would think that like any cities with tall buildings, you can avoid the “observatory tickets”, if there is a restaurant on top. From there you can see the long stretch of the island of Manhattan, Brooklyn, New York & New Jersey ports, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Once you arrived to the 100th floor, you will be presented a 2 minute video which will be a spectacular mash time-lapse imagery ending with the actual great panoramic view from the Tower. The One World Observatory is three-level access of the floors 101 through 103.

The admission cost is 32$US ($26 for children ages 6-12, $30 for 65+ and free for little ones 5 and under), make sure to book in advance. Here I am in 2015, finally to see it totally done. The Freedom Tower is enhancing the beauty of New York, although the memory of 9/11 is very sad. It was going to be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Since then, we have all been watching the new Freedom Tower rise over the past few years.Īt each visit, I have seen the Freedom Tower being constructed over that beautiful New York City skyline. I never got the chance to see it as my first visit in NYC was in 2005. On April 4, 1973, the original World Trade Centeropened in NYC’s Financial District.
